The Passion Behind the Brand
“Empowering Wellness Through Intentional Nutrition and Lifestyle.” My journey into wellness began with my little sister during a profoundly challenging season in our family’s life. Walking beside her through complex health struggles changed the direction of my path and deepened my desire to understand how intentional nutrition and lifestyle choices can support the body during times of stress.
At this time, I was navigating my own health imbalance, which led me to explore the importance of metabolic balance, histamine awareness, hormonal transitions, thyroid issues and liver-supportive nutrition. These personal experiences reshaped my understanding of the body’s interconnected systems and reinforced the value of mindful, supportive lifestyle practices.

Today I create wellness tools that blend 28 years of culinary experience with our family business, Four Sisters Catering in San Antonio, Texas, along with my education at IIN Institute for integrative nutrition and my work as a health coach with a focus on nutrition support during complex health journeys.

My approach blends culinary artistry with nutritional science, honoring both tradition and evidence-informed wellness principles. True vitality comes from aligning with the body’s natural design, not overwhelming it. Peridot Four was created from lived experience, from witnessing resilience, navigating uncertainty and choosing to respond with intention.
Every formulation reflects my belief that balance, purity, and purpose matters.

THE PERIDOT PURPOSE
The journey that changed everything
Tanya’s Journey was born from one of the most painful seasons our family has ever endured. During a time of deep uncertainty, my little sister faced significant health struggles that deeply affected her body and spirit. Watching someone you love navigate challenges beyond your control, awakens you!
In that season of grief, I felt called to search for answers.
I began with prayer, seeking clarity, direction, and purpose. I asked for wisdom
to understand how I could support the body naturally, especially during
times of stress and imbalance. What followed was not just research, it
was a calling.
I immersed myself in botanical study, rediscovering plant-based
ingredients with long histories of traditional use. What began as
research quickly became reverence, an appreciation for how
nature supports the body in its most intricate functions.
As I studied more deeply, I began to understand that detoxification is not a trend,it is a continuous, intelligent process woven into the body’s design.

A TREASURE FROM NATURE
Peridot Four was inspired by something rare and radiant, the Peridot, August’s birthstone, long associated with strength, protection, renewal and light.
Like the Peridot gemstone, Peridot Four represents transformation. It embodies the belief that strength can emerge from struggle and that renewal is always possible.
The Peridot gemstone forms under high temperatures and pressures deep in the mantle, approximately 20-55 miles below the Earth’s surface. Yet despite the intense conditions, it emerges radiant and brilliant, brought to the surface through volcanic activity, often in basaltic lava flows or volcanic ash deposits.
The month of August holds deep meaning in our family. It is the month my sister Tanya was born. It is also the month we said goodbye to our beloved older sister, Monique.
August represents both birth and remembrance, light and legacy, joy and resilience woven together. It is a reminder that even in loss, there is a purpose.
The number four carries its own sacred symbolism. It honors the four Yamin sisters. It represents unity, foundation, and enduring strength. It reflects structure, stability, and wholeness.
Peridot Four is more than a botanical formula. It is a reflection of love, faith, remembrance, and intention.
