The Passion Behind the Brand
“Who knew antioxidants could be interesting?
Well, we're about to find out!
I went from being a party girl and event planner to becoming passionate about science of antioxidants and oxidative stress. Funny how life takes you places you never expected!
My journey became deeply personal after losing two of my sisters to cancer. Their stories inspired me to spend more than 10 years learning about oxidative stress, antioxidants, and the role they play in the body.
Along the way, I was also navigating my own health imbalance, which sparked my curiosity about the body's interconnected systems including mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), POTS, histamine intolerance and inflammatory symptoms which led me to explore the importance of metabolic balance, histamine awareness, hormonal transitions, thyroid issues and liver-supportive nutrition. The more I learned, the more I realized just how connected our bodies are and how confusing health information can be.
That's why I'm passionate about making science simple. I want to help people better understand what's happening inside their bodies, ask better questions, and make more in formed choices about their wellness.
Because understanding your health shouldn't require a science degree!

Today we create wellness tools that blend 28 years of culinary experience with our family business Four Sisters Catering in San Antonio, TX., along with my education at IIN Institute for integrative nutrition and my work as a health coach with a focus on nutrition support during complex health journeys.

Our approach blends culinary artistry with nutritional science, honoring both tradition and evidence-informed wellness principles. True vitality comes from aligning with the body’s natural design, not overwhelming it. THE PERIDOT PURPOSE
The journey that changed everything
Tanya’s Journey with cancer was born from one of the most painful seasons our family has ever endured. During a time of deep uncertainty, our little sister faced significant health struggles that deeply affected her body and spirit. Watching someone you love navigate challenges beyond your control, awakens you!
In that season of grief, I felt called to search for answers.
I began with prayer, seeking clarity, direction, and purpose. I asked for wisdom and knowledge
to understand how I could support the body naturally, especially during
times of stress and imbalance. What followed was not just research, it
was a calling.
I immersed myself in botanical study, rediscovering plant-based
ingredients with long histories of traditional use. What began as
research quickly became reverence, an appreciation for how
nature supports the body in its most intricate functions.
As I studied more deeply, I began to understand that antioxidants are naturally occurring compounds found in plants called polyphenols that help "protect" cells from oxidative stress and support the body's normal processes.

A TREASURE FROM NATURE
Peridot Four represents resilience, renewal, and the strength to emerge stronger through life's challenges.
The month of August (the month of the Peridot) holds deep meaning in our family. It is the month our little sister Tanya was born. It is also the month we said goodbye to our beloved older sister, Monique who died 2 1/2 years after Tanya from congestive heart failure due to the complications of cancer treatments she received in 1996.
"It is a reminder that even in loss, there is a purpose."
The number "four" carries its own sacred meaning. It honors the four Yamin sisters and symbolizes unity, strength, foundation, stability, and wholeness.
Peridot Four Premium Plant-based Comprehensive Antioxidant Supplement is more than a botanical formula. It is a reflection of love, faith, remembrance, and intention.
